Follow the instructions below to fold an easy origami tulip.

This tulip requires two pieces of paper. One for the stem and one for the flower itself. It’s simple and very easy to make.
After folding this one, you can try another origami tulip that is a little more difficult to make, but looks very nice.
Step 1: Begin with a square sheet of origami paper and rotate it like a diamond with color side down. If you only have regular 8.5×11 paper, follow these instructions to make it square.
Step 2: Fold the paper in half by folding the bottom corner to the top corner.
Step 3: Fold in half again by folding the left corner to the right corner.
Step 4: Unfold it.
Step 5: Take the right corner and make an angled fold diagonally upwards like you see in the picture.
Step 6: Take the left corner and wrap the flap around the rest of the figure like you see in the picture.
Step 7: Fold the bottom corner backwards behind the figure.
Step 8: Now take out a new sheet of paper. We’re going to make the stem.
Step 9: Fold the paper in half from left to right.
Step 10: Unfold it.
Step 11: Grab the left and right corners and fold it to the center, making sure the left and right edges meet at the center crease.
Step 12: Fold the figure in half by folding left to right.
Step 13: Take a small portion of the bottom and fold it up, aligning the right edges. It should look like the picture.
