How to Make an Origami Banana

Learn how to fold an origami banana with instructions below.
Difficulty: Easy

So you love bananas so much, you just have to fold some huh? Luckily for you, these things are very easy to make. They look almost like the real thing except with more corners, but they don’t taste anything like the real thing at all. They taste better than the real thing! Just kidding. Don’t eat it. It’s not good for you and you will poop it out.

You know who else likes bananas as much as you do? This origami monkey! You can fold it after finishing this origami banana.

Step 1: Start with a square sheet of origami paper and rotate it like a diamond. If you only have regular rectangle paper, follow instructions on how to make origami paper.

Step 2: Fold the top corner to the bottom corner. MMM..Yummy. Can you see the banana yet? No? Keep going.

Step 3: Fold the bottom corner slight higher than the top edge.

Step 4: Fold the top corner behind the edge. Starting to look delicious. No?

Step 5: Fold the right corner to the left corner, creasing at the half way point.

Step 6: Take the left corner from the top layer and fold it down to near the bottom corner.

Step 7: Now take the left corner from the remaining layer and fold it down like you see on the picture.

Step 8: Fold the left corner back to make it disappear. Now rub the origami against the inside of a real banana peel to make it smell good. Just kidding. Don’t do that. That’s gross.
