Follow the instructions below to make this Origami Cat Box
Looking for instructions on how to make a box, but you also happen to be a cat lover? Well I’ve got the perfect origami to teach you. The origami cat box! Finally you have a cat that can be useful and obedient! I kid, I kid.
The origami cat box is not difficult to fold at all, and the hardest part is drawing on the face. If you’re not artistic, your cat will end up unproportioned like mine, but still cute. :3
Step 2: Fold the upper left corner to the lower right corner, then unfold.
Step 3: Now fold the upper right corner to the lower left corner, then unfold.
Step 4: Fold the top half backwards (where the creases meet at an X), then unfold but don’t flatten it.
Step 5: With your finger, poke the center and it should pop in.
Step 6: Bring the left and right creases to the center to collapse the figure into a triangle.
Step 7: Rotate the figure so it’s upside down.
Step 8: Fold the top layer of the left flap over to the right, crease the center well, then fold back.
Step 9: Fold the bottom corner up into a triangle as shown, then unfold.
Step 10: From the corner of the triangle’s crease, fold both layers of the left side over, then unfold.
Step 11: Repeat on the right side.
Step 12: Fold the top layer of both sides to the vertical crease, then unfold.
Step 13: Open the left flap at the crease and squash down.
Step 14: Repeat the squash fold on the right flap.
Step 15: Fold the left side of the “kite” shaped flap behind.
Step 16: Repeat on the right side.
Step 17: Fold the tips down, then unfold.
Step 18: Tuck both tips in at the top.
Step 19: Fold the left and right corners down to the side as shown.
Step 20: Fold the tips up to form the ear.
Step 21: Turn the figure over.
Step 22: Draw on the face. I hope you draw better than I do.
Step 23: Carefully open the box and the bottom should begin to flatten. Now you have a cute little cat box!
