The origami Nik-Nak Box is great for storing all your little nik-naks. Using regular paper is the most convenient way to fold this box, but you can use a more sturdy material to make a nik-nak box that lasts longer. Ready? Just follow the simple instructions to make your own Nik-Nak Box.

Step 1: Get out a regular sheet of rectangular paper.

Step 2: Fold the bottom half to the top, making sure the corners touch eatch other.

Step 3: Once again, fold the bottom half to the top.
Pin

Step 4: Fold the bottom left and right corners to the top.
Pin

Step 5: Fold the left flap to the right along its vertical edge.

Step 6: Do the same to the right flap.

Step 7: Unfold both flaps

Step 8: Turn the paper over.
Pin

Step 9: Fold in both flaps on this side as well, like steps 5 and 6.

Step 10: Unfold the flaps.

Step 11: Turn the paper over.

Step 12: Unfold the left and right triangle flaps.

Step 13: Unfold the top layer down.
Pin

Step 14: Fold up the bottom left and right corner to the creases.

Step 15: Fold down only the top singler layer of the left and right corners.
Pin

Step 16: Fold down the single layer of the top flap.
Pin

Step 17: Pull out the bottom pocket while creasing the left and right flaps into the shape of a box.

Step 18: Bend up and bring in the opening of the box. Pinch both corners to make it easier. Then fold the corners to the side of the box.

Step 19: Tuck the corners into the side pockets of the box.
