This origami rabbit is very easy to make. Kids will love to fold this and then when they’re done, they’ll get to draw on the face. There are only a few steps so kids should be able to follow along easily.
Step 1: Start with a square piece of origami paper with white side up. If you only have regular 8.5×11 paper, follow these instructions to make it into a square sheet..
Step 2: Fold the paper in half by folding the bottom corner to the top corner, then unfold.
Step 3: Now fold the left corner to the right corner, then unfold.
Step 4: Fold a small portion of the triangle base up as shown.
Step 5: Fold the left and right bottom edges up at the center as shown. These are the origami rabbit ears.
Step 6: Turn the figure over.
Step 7: Fold the top corner of the head down as shown.
Step 8: Fold the bottom corner of the chin up as shown, then draw on the face and you’re done. Now you know how to make an origami rabbit!
